Question

How do I set a reserve on an auction on Ebay?

I'm trying to sell a domain name on ebay and I can't find the option to specify a reserve price. There is no way I'm putting it up for auction without a reserve price. I'm a new ebay seller if that makes a difference..I just don't get why it's not asking me if I want a reserve or not :(. Can anyone help?

It isn't going to ask you, you type in your reserve price on the auction page as you are filling out the form. It's on there, just look for it. Once you fill in your reserve price it will then add the added fee to your listing fee. If you start it at a fixed price, the listing fee may get pretty high, as it is calculated by the amount you choose.

it's been a while since ove done this but it's in the same area in which you set the starting bid... however, since oyu can just start the bidding at a fixed price, why worry about a reserve. i've never understood this.

Use a fixed starting price. I absolutely will not bid on anything with a reserve price. I think it is tacky. If bids are $5 and reserve is $50 then it has been a waste of time.
