I want to order tf 2 but my parents are worried for their money on their credit card.Will Steam.com scam me?
I tried for a year to get them to buy me the game.I have finally done it but under one condition and that is to prove them that steam.com will not scam them and take their money.So i have made this question to prove them. Most detailed answer will get 5 stars and 15 points(or however you get for 5 stars. It would be the best if it were believable and that you have already bought something on the site.

John, I can see how your parents are worried. My parents used to be the same way about ordering things online with their credit cards. Steam uses Secure connections to make sure that nobody will be able to get their credit card info via the internet. (Make sure you are buying the game directly from the Steam program itself, not websites) Also, the game will be available as soon as you order... No having to wait for a shipment or anything. It will automatically start downloading. Also, Steam will automatically send you a receipt to your e-mail. (My parents always wanted to see them) I have bought many games on Steam, and have played Counter-Strike source for years. Steam is a very secure website to buy games.
