When dealership keep checking your credit. Will ur credit score drop or will it only drop one time?

Hi I want to buy a new used car. I try 2 different dealership and on 1 of the dealership they put my credit. Credit is over 700 but im scared if I try the other dealership my credit will drop. I dont know if it will, it is my first time buying a car.I just dont want to keep going to different dealership and them having to check it. Any help, thank you

Yes, everything time they pull your credit or check it, it does drop your credit score, but some will see people, dealers will see that it was due to inquires but some won't.

With a home, when shopping for a mortgage all your inquiries that you do in a 6 week window are lumped as one. This is to protect the consumer and allow them to shop for a loan. I'm pretty sure the same goes for cars. Even so, those inquiries are less than 10% of the fico. You'd have to do 100 to drop that part significantly - don't sweat it. If you have any credit card debt, pay it in full - that usually gives the score a big boost. /
