collections are collections. You have to understand that collectors usually threaten you so that you'll pay up. Technically even if it is an officer, you can't be jailed for your debt so I very much doubt it was an officer anyways. Its probably just a greedy bill collector. The point is that they will try to use all these scary tactics to scare you into paying.
