Any website where i can find private apt's for rent for a few days in LA or LAS VEGAS. I heard there are such?

Try VRBO.com They are vacation rentals, meant for a few days or a weeks.

Then find them. I have not heard of one. And even private LL's do background and credit checks, if you think you are going to avoid the scrutiny, it is highly unlikely you are going to get a rental unless you bring a big deposit to the table.
