Do hyphens in anchor text matter for SEO purposes?
If my site is thisandthat.com (for example), but the business name is This-and-that, so all my anchor text says This-and-That with hyphens, how does that effect my search engine optimization? If someone does a search for this and that, will the hyphens put me at a disadvantage?

Hyphens don't matter in the anchor text because the link is sending them to your site. Hence creating a backlink to your site. Plus you have to remember in google for example words like" the, with" etc are not even read. You might want to get a new name based on what your core business is. Plus for brand recognition.

Hyphens are not as good as spaces but are better than the underscores or words without spaces.
