Auto Insurance rate - is there a way to shop around !?
Hi , I am looking to get auto loan - not sure - what rate is reasonable, my scores are good, but Not enough debt experience Insufficient comparable credit Time since most recent revolving debt account opening too short what all these would mean - state reason for getting high rate. how could i improve my future chances - for loans such as mortgage thanks!

The best thing to do, is not borrow more money than you can easily pay back. That's the biggest mistake kids (I'm talking about the under 30 set here) make. The second best thing, is BUY USED. Buy your car at least two years old. Sure, you'll pay a bit more in interest, but someone ELSE has already taken the massive instant depreciation hit.

Don't apply for car loans over and over or for credit cardsover and over because each time you apply that lowers your credit score. You could get an older car (a cheap one)and take the higher interest rate and then pay it off. Then you would have more credit experience. If you make payments on time that improves your credit score. You miight also repost your question under credit.

If you want to increase your credit rating than you should borrow only whatever amount you can pay back in a timely manner. Secondly the interest rates on loans are normally high even in this market, hence it is most advisable not to borrow money you cannot pay back. You can go for an used vehicle. Thanks
