Office organization help......?
my office services over 300 real estate agents coming in constantly to pick things up and drop things off. usually it will be a contract & addendum's or paperwork of some kind, so multiple docs constantly going in and out. i trying to think of a way to make it more visually attractive and more streamlined. currently we are using hanging trays hanging on the inside lip of the receptionist desk (which is where we process everything). one for listing side & one for selling side. at any one given time there are at least to staff members sitting behind the desk processing everything that is coming in and going out. we also need a new filing system cuz the filing cabinets are filling up quick and are hard on the back bending over to get to the bottom 2 drawers. any ideas or places to find ideas let me know.?.?.?

I can't think of a more visually appealing system that is as convenient as the hanging trays. As for filing, how about getting an online filing system? You scan all the documents into the computer and label them with account numbers attached. Makes it easy to search for documents and you can print them from there as well. Less chance of misplacing items. Keep the paper copies for an "X" amount of time, than shred. If it's something that needs to be held onto for "X" amount of years, store in a box in storage.

Sounds like this is going to be a very busy place. So plan by visualizing what You might need in 3 years in contrast to what you have now. First I would get a color scheme going for File specifics.like black for coming in and white for going out.You can use colored labels for more detail and then go to numbers for specifics. It takes time to become organized to the point that you are satisfied. I would not spend excessively, search for good deals and show your Bosses how Business savvy you are. Good Luck.
