Question

State of MA health insurance help please!!!!!!?

I'm pregnant and am on the healthy start health insurance. Now the reason they put me in it was because I have to have had my green card for 5 years to qualify for mass health and I've only had mine for 1 ( I just lived visas for ten years ). I'm a little worried because once I have the baby I will not be insured. It dosn't sound right that I can't get health insurance at all unless I've had a green card for 5 years right? I mean illegal aliens get insured so why can't a perfectly legal person get it? My husband gets insured thru network health since his buisness us not offering it. Is there anyone out there who can tell me how I can get insured? And also how to insure the baby since I was under the impression they wud be under mine I guess that won't work out if they drop me after it's born. Any sugestions will be greatly appriciated, thanks!!

Illegal aliens don't get insured in MA. When you're not pregnant, you can go to a local agent, and buy a private policy. Once his baby is born, he can probably add it to "network health". Although as his spouse, YOU should have been able to be added to it, also.

health-quotes.talk4fun.net - try this one. My sister had no problem with her insurance coverage while being pregnant.
