Fundraising Help Please!!?
I need some help with easy, cheap, and effective fundraisers for me. I have been offered to go to the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. but i can't exactly afford it. I am going to ask for sponsors and apply for the scholarship, but you don't even know if you get the scholarship until after the deadline is up to sign up. SO, i NEED help with fundraising ideas to support my trip to washington D.C. I figured out that I would need around 2,000 dollars to be safe.

Firstly, congratulations! An easy way to get $2000 is to sell it! If 40 people all pay $100, they get a 1 in 40 chance of winning $2000. Some of the best odds going around... and you get $2000 for yourself :) Get your friends and family to help you sell the 40 tickets to their colleagues and neighbours, particularly those who like a punt.
