Can anyone help me with my credit card ?
I have a Axis bank credit card and It was fine before 2 weeks. Axis bank told me that I need to register ny card in "Verified by VIsa" which I did. But I couldnt get registered since I got a error message "Authentication failed.Please try again" I tried for 4-5 times continously and got a message that my card is blocked.. I called to customer support.They actually didnt even bother to hear my issue.They started confirming my details.They asked my mother's name and I told.But they said that my mother's name which I told is not matching with their records.I was annoyed and frustrated and I told my mother's name correctly.But they repeatedly told that its not matching and they cannot help... It may be a spelling mistake will filling the application for the credit card.But they totally denied to help me over phone.I emailed them stating my problem.They simply said that I may have entered some details wrong and I need to try again which I did and got the same message.. Every time I send a email, they send me this same crap.I was frustrated and asked them how to cancel my card which they didnt answer.What do I do now..I was planning to publish my own website. I purchased the domain name with my card.Now I need to purchase the web host. But without the card, I am getting delayed for the past 2 weeks.. I requested my friends to help me by purchasing the web host through their credit cards and I told them I will pay them with cash instantly..But no one helped..I feel pretty embarassed to ask for a help and feel hopeless what to do..

You should have an address where you mail you payments in to. Send a letter in writting (forget email) to that address requesting that your account be closed (assuming you have a zero balance). Then if you have to have a credit card try getting one with another company. You could call and when you get an agent ask for a supervisor. I had a similiar issue one time and the girl on the phone just kept saying that does not conform. I am thinking what does that mean. I finally hung up on her. Called back and asked for a supervisor. Complained on the previous agent (which a record of who it was existed in the file) and then explained my issues and they were able to help me,

A legitimate credit card company does not send customers requests for personal information or to go to a phony link. When you went to that phony Verified by Visa link, someone hacked your account and got your personal info. It was a phishing scam, not from Axis directly. You have to call Axis on the phone to cancel this account and explain what happened. No legitimate credit card company will refuse to cancel your account. You still have to pay the charges from the website but you could tell Axis you want to dispute the charge and that will give you time to sort it out. I am in the U.S. and don't know Axis.

Better send a regd letter stating the facts n wait for a call from the Bank. The problem will b solved in a short time. All the best.

if this kinda thing happened 2 me, i'd b closing that card/acct & not using them again. it sounds 2 me like shady business that i'd avoid
