As an Avon rep, I looked into selling on ebay, until I realized it wasn't worth my time. The Avon reps that are selling on ebay are buying the Avon products themselves in large amounts (the higher your order through Avon the more commission you make). They are then listing the items for just above the net rate. After ebay fees, paypal fees etc, they are making maybe a few cents per item. I couldn't be bothered and just stuck to selling Avon through the catalogues and through my Avon website that Avon made for me. I may make less sales than the reps on ebay, but my profits are higher.

It may be against the rules for Avon to let their reps sell the products on eBay, but that has nothing to do with eBay the Company. It is not against the rules of eBay to sell new cosmetics on the site and they do not ban any brands, so long the product is new.

I've always wondered that also. The prices that their selling those products I don't understand how they're even earning a dime, lol
