Whats a good web presence for my business?
How do Facebook, Twitter, GoogleSites, (or anything else you might suggest) compare as a web presence for my business. Thank you

They don't really constitute a real 'web presence' for your business. The sites you mention are mostly marketing tools which can be used as part of your overall strategy to brand your business online and drive traffic back to your actual website. It's still preferable to have your own domain name and website (which you can easily set up using Wordpress, for example) as the homebase for your web presence.
