eBay Shipping and Pay Pal Help?
So I sold an item on ebay, and i need to ship it. I posted that i would ship ups ground 3-8 days, I'm just curious what to do. I sold it through paypal, so do i go on my paypal account and do something? And do I wrap the item up in a box and take it to the store? or do they put it in a special box there? and how much will it cost to ship if the item weighs like half a pount and is about 14 inches x 2 inches x 1 inch? I need help. Thanks ahead of time.

You should verify that the money is in your Paypal account before you ship the item. If it's there, you can leave it where it is, or ask Paypal to deposit it into your linked bank account, or send it to you in the form of a check. That's up to you. Since you're shipping via UPS, the easiest thing to do would be to bring it to your local UPS store and let them package it for you. You might be able to get an estimate of the shipping cost from the UPS Web site. You really should have figured out how much it would cost to ship before you listed the item for auction ... how do you know whether or not you charged your buyer enough for shipping? (A word of advice for future auctions -- for small and/or light items, the USPS is generally *much* cheaper than any commercial shipping services.)

You can put it in a box and take it to UPS or USPS (the post office) or FedEx. You can ship it any way. You can even print the shipping label out on PayPal and pay for it on there. The only service you need a special box for is priority mail from usps. It will cost between $3-$10, depending on the service you use. Put it in a box, bring it to the post office (don't print the shipping label off paypal), and they will help you out..that is the best way to do it the 1st time. I hope this helps.
