Hi I am 19 years old and I own my own travel agency/local insurance company. and...?

I haven't built any personal credit. I am considering getting a merchant account, I heard that usually a merchant account increase your credit score by 30-40 points. Because I have been turned down for 3 credit cards, I will just get the merchant account and apply again 2 or 3 months later. Any ideas? I don't have a FICO score yet, and don't have any accounts except my checking account, that i just opened.

If you owned your own insurance AGENCY, you wouldn't be referring to it as a COMPANY. I don't believe you. And you can't get a merchant account, if you can't back it up.

You own your own travel agency and insurance company (yeah right) and yet you have no personal credit? Unless your last name is Buffet or Gates I'm calling BS on this. Perhaps you should clarify with some truthful details.
