Question

I live in Murfreesboro, TN which is about 30 miles from Nashville, How are values going for homes in my area?

I have a house that I have placed on the market which is 1305 sq. ft. I have done a lot of upgrades i.e. granite counter tops, tile flooring, new carpet and new paint. The front of the house is brick and the remainder is vinyl siding. It is on a corner lot with my 2 car garage coming in from the side. I have almost an acre (.44) of land with lots of landscaping. Any ideas about the value of my home?

I live in Gallatin & work in the mortgage business. Murfreesboro (Rutherford Co) is one of the best areas in terms of growth. Your realtor is the best bet to value your home since they can check out comparable sales. I think there is a web site called homevalues.com that you can enter your info into to get an idea also- but then the realtors start calling you! If you want to send me the street address I have a site that I can look at comps for you, but it doesn't take your upgrades into consideration- just square footage, land etc. I would be happy to do it though if you want. It's called realtracs.net but I don't think you can access it if you aren't in the business.
