The best real estate agent in Crystal Lake, IL?

Hi. We are trying to sell a house in Crystal Lake, IL. It has been on market for about 6 months. We are not happy with our real estate agent - he does nothing - just waits. I think that it is time to change him and hire somebody who will take more action, bring more people, do more advertising etc. Is there some website that will show me "the best" or "the top ten" real estate agents in Crystal Lake, IL? Ask your neighbors and friends. Who has sold a house in your area recently? You don't necessarily want a really busy realtor who has a lot of listings because they won't have time for you, but get some recommendations. The market is tight right now. If your house has been on the market for 6 months with no offers it is over priced or does not show well. How does your home show? Does it look like a model? Look at it from a buyer's perspective. You are competing with every other house on the market and buyers want a perfect house which is also a bargain. Ask at least three realtors to meet with you and give you some realistic market analysis for your home.

Google agents in your desired area. Call the first 5 and ask them to tell you what makes them superior. Honestly any monkey with a sales license can call them-self a realtor. The good ones make things happen
