Get a credit card from local bank and pay it in time. You also can use this service to avoid common mistakes while buiding credit and pre-estimate future scores for different scenarios of payments - creditreport.imess.net

No.... To help build (or rebuild) a good credit history, it can be beneficial to get a secured credit card, the kind where you put up a security deposit and your credit limit is equal to that. You can use this to gradually rebuild a history of on-time payments that will be reported to the credit bureaus.

Get a prepaid or secured credit card through your bank so your credit card usage will be tied directly to you. You might also get what's called a believer loan through your bank. The bank makes an imaginary loan to you, say $500.00. Each month you make payments on this loan (ON TIME!). Your payment goes into a CD, less a finance fee. When you're done, you have credit for paying off a loan and a $500.00 CD you can take out or roll over.

Tmobile checking credit? Thats a new one! Well considering these economic times, getting a credit card is hard. I personally, would go to capital one. They are like the easiest bank to get approved for without charging you ridiculous fees. My first credit card was with a cl of 1000 and only charged me 39. Stay away from Orchard bank, Applied bank, and First Premier. They give you credit limits of $250 and 177 in fees so basically they charge you $177 for establishing your credit.

No, I checked a site called findsecuredcards I think, you can google it. Most prepaid cards DON'T build credit, but there are a select few. I would make sure you read the fine print, before you apply, and think it will help build credit.

There's only one prepaid credit card that I know helps build credit and that's the APS Cashplus card. However you need to apply for the card first then add their credit builder add-on to the card. There is more information on the card here: www ...
