Question
I went into an interview for a company this morning and I was wondering if it sounds like I did well or not...?
It was a very cordial interview, and the conversation seemed to flow very well, but every single question the interviewer asked me was off of a scripted piece of paper she had on a clipboard in front of her. There were some answers that I know that I phrased wrongly, such as when asked why I wanted to quit my current job, and I answered that I didn't get enough hours...I didn't give them any reason to think that I was interested in their company. However, a lot of the answers I gave were noted with a smile and a small comment such as "excellent" or "wow". The interviewer told me that I showed an excellent initiative and that my resume showed that I had the skills to complete the job. Then, towards the end of the interview, she told me in great detail how the rest of the interview process would go if I was chosen to continue it, but she didn't ask for my references and we didn't discuss the salary at all. She smiled and shook my hand at the end, but then she didn't walk me out and actually had her secretary open the door and follow me down the hall before I was given a polite "thank you" and a business card and then shown out of the building. It was very formal and a little bit awkward and as much as I would LOVE this job, I don't feel as successful as I would like.

it is hard to say. if you have not given your reference in your job application, and she didnt ask for it during the interview, it is either that you dont make the cut, or that she will ask for it if you go to the 2nd interview. in short, u may or may not done well in this interview.
