in case, of sudden TERMINATION of services from a managerial post - WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION RECEIVABLE ?

in case prior notice not served to the employee, employment contract say's "3 months salary" would be paid.( LTD. COMPANY) NOW my question is 3months salary would be a) 3months CTC- 3months net take home pay or b) 3months basic salary ? Please help me seriously with your answer.

See the contract says " 3 months salary" and not " 3 months basic pay" . There's a lot of difference between "salary" & "Basic pay". Salary is a sum total of the all the benefits you are entitled to as enlisted in the employment offer letter. See it more clearly...it will mention the basic pay, all the allowances & benefits...down below it will be written Gross Salary. From Gross Salary Prof Tax & Income Tax are deducted to arrive at Net Salary. This is ur net take home pay. Thats what the company shud be paying you upfront when they want you to leave without notice.

Companies can hire and fire you at will, for no reason other than disability laws. You are lucky to get a severance at all.

3 months basic salary . Your severance pay check would be your regular monthly check X3 ..........
