okayi am buying something on ebay today sunday and it says Will usually ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment. okay how long is 3 buiness days

that means 3 business days (days they are open). If payment clears on Monday, then it would ship within three days of Monday.

a business day is typically a weekday (Monday - Friday). So if you bought something on eBay on a Friday night or Saturday ( and payment cleared at the same time) , then it would be shipped by the end of day Wednesday

It all depends on what days the company operates. For the most part, you can assume that business days refer to weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The only times they don't refer to the weekdays is when a holiday falls on one of those days. If you bought the item Sunday night, (Sunday is usually not considered a business day), then your item will ship 3 days from Monday. 3 business days would mean that you'd get it sometime after Wednesday.
