UPS Delivery Service?

Hi im fro AUstralia and recently ordered something that is coming through UPS Delivery service from the USA. Iv been tracking the status and its saying that THe Reschudeled delivery date is 23/10/2009 (this friday). I have two questions A) how accurate is this and B) If im not there to sign for the package. What will happen to it? Will i have to pick it up from a centre or something?

it is pretty accurate.. if it was rescheduled they probably haven't go it yet. But it will come If you are not there to sign for it, it will go to your closest news agent or post office. But if it comes by a self employed courier then they will leave it at your door/letter box
