Question

I bought something on my mom's credit card, when does the credit card bill come?

So both my parents are mad at me, and i saws these sneakers on sale. ! like real cheap. & I HAD to get them. Like they wont even talk to me, so i used my mom's card to buy it for now. I'll ask them to buy it for me later, when they cool off. So im just saving myself the last pair, and will actually ask properly later on. THE QUESTION IS: Will they find out that i bought shoes like within 2 days? & If they wont buy them for me, am i allowed to call the online store and tell them to void it ? I am 13, i cant possibly get a job. & plus I AM a female, please get your facts straight. I do not wear heels, I am still in middle school. You are not allowed to.. & btw, I asked this question for advice not mean commments It's so crazy how you guys answer my question with such harsh and mean comments. Like really guys ? I am not a theif, and please don't call me that. & fyi I did not buy it, I was planning to but i changed my mind i said i did in my question because i wanted to know what is the process. I felt it was wrong to buy them. But what you guys said was also wrong, calling me a theft and such I would like non judgemental answers. If you guys knew it is wrong, just tell me without calling me names.

If your parents login online, they will see it in their pending statement within a couple of days (usually takes a couple days for a transaction to get posted). Once the store ships the product is when they usually charge the transaction. Then it is usually too late to return the product unless you pay restocking fees and return postage. Make sure you tell your parents before they find out. If they find out about the charge before you tell them, they may assume the credit card number was stolen and dispute the claim with the bank causing the credit card to become invalid until a new credit card is issued (usually about a week). Then if the bank later determines that it was used by a family member, the bank could then possibly completely cancel the credit card.

Everyones charge card statement arrives at different times of the month. What you did is wrong and suggest you tell your parents NOW

It depends on the credit card company and when your mom set her billing cycles for (i.e. most companies ask you when you open the account if you want to be billed at the beginning, middle or end of the month). You can return the shoes and the charges will be dropped from the card, however it may (probably) still show up that a purchase was made and then canceled during the last billing cycle.
