What forms does the IRS require be submitted by corporate filers?

My friend has a NV corporation that is not used but is active in the state record. There is no income, distributions or payroll. What must be completed to maintain good standing with the IRS?

At a minimum a corporation is required to file an annual 1120 form and probably a Schedule K-1 as well. An S-Corporation would be responsible for an 1120-S and it's related K-1s.

You must file tax return every year even when you have a loss. You will also pay minimum franchise fee. Form 1120 or 1120S, K-1 forms, franchise return, corporation return where incorported.
