how do we know whether a particular property is made on APPROVED project by MUNCIPALITY..or(MAHANAGARPALIKA)?
i want to purchase one property in Western Suburb of MUMBAI , in MIRA ROAD, How would i know whether the building is made on authorised and legal land approved by goverment bodies...?? i know i can verify all the documents but how can i verify it is registered and legal from goverment side.......pls suggest me in detail

you decided to purchase, then pay builder, a token advance and collect the title deeds copies and sanctioned plan copy for submitting to bank for availing loan. take the copy of the plan and verify with the office sanctioned the plan, for authenticity!
