The first thing you need to do is pay for a copyright of all your designs from the Library of Congress, after you obtain that, you need to send 12 samples of your work to the top card companies; Hallmark, American Greetings and don't forget the smaller company within Hallmark, Shoebox Greetings. Might be better for you to get started with a known company until you have a following, then you can start your own private company.
