There are a lot of resources online that teach SEO. Free resources offer some basic knowledge, but you won't find the real stuff there. The most important factor that will determine your rank is the number of links you have to your website. Not all the links are calculated equally - links from quality and relevant websites are a lot more important. So, to achieve high ranking you should focus on getting links from websites with PR5 or more. Links from websites with PR7, PR8 and PR9 (if you manage to get them) will guarantee you top rankings.

Hi Ari_26, There are two sides to seo On-page You said you already know this, but just in case you over looked something. Title Tag Keep your title within 60 characters no more. The primary keyword should come first. Description Tag: Keep the characters within 160 in length no more. Use your primary keyword to start your description. Keyword Tag: You should only have 2-4 keywords in this tag, if you add to many keywords the search engine spiders will get confused and this will lower your ranking. Do not use the same keyword twice. Off-page - Google loves this one The more incoming links to your site the better. In the eyes of Google that means 1 vote per backlink. Plus, the higher the domain linking back to you, the faster you rank. Right, now that's out the way. What is your keyword? Type it into google search. In the top of the listings under the title, description and link, you will find the word " Cached". click on it. Q:How many times does your keyword show up (in full length)? A:Take a note Q:How many times does your keyword show up (in segments)? A:Take a note Copy the URL of this site. Go to iWebTools.com or backlinkwatch.com and paste the url into the search box and submit. The results may take a minute or 2 to come back to you. Take a note of how many income/backlinks that that domain has. OK. Still with me? You should now have some of the information you need to rank high with the keyword you're using. You should know how many full length and segmented keywords to use (of the amount of words used on that page/post) You should now know how many backlinks to use (for that page/post) Things to check up on to increase backlinks and ranking: Article marketing Submitting to directories Blogging - (and submit to blog directories) Joint Ventues Email Marketing If you have your own product/service, looking into affiliate it. The fact that you claim to know everything about meta tags scares me. Since you did not include a link I cannot evaluate your meta tag skill. By the way, Google doesn't read meta-keyword files at all, and will boot you for keyword stuffing the description, moving on. I bet setting up Google webmaster tools would help you learn a lot. You might also check out the google webmaster guidelines. After that check out Google search engine optimization, and you will have found the opening to the rabbit hole which is SEO.

You know a lot already. What you need are unlimited quality one-way links to your site. If you can write 450-word articles, you can easily build such links. I know of blogs that need content and they will republish your content including anchored text links in the body of your articles. These are niche-relevant WordPress blogs with different domain names and IPs. Each is also building PR so, eventually, they will have high PR. For safe backlink building, there is a free guide in a page somewhere. No opt-in needed.
