Are Government grants -particularly Grantors -institute- a scam in USA?
Hi guys just need some assistance, I have a friend in LA, Grand Coteau who is talking about getting a $5000 Government grant of some kind from grantors institute .. just want to know is it legitimate? does anyone have any experience with them - or are they just trying to get his bank details to clean him out.

Of course it is a scam. The US govt. does not make grants to individuals except for some school grants.

There are no government "personal grants" in the U.S. The only grants available are certain educational grants.
