HELP!!! Need to file a complaint with Texas Real Estate Commission?
Bought a house in Dallas last June. Had to replace a bad gas line, heating furnace, ac unit etc. Was told by agent train only passes a few times a week, it passes 8 times a day. None of these things were listed in the disclosure. Things are still coming up with this house. Can I still file a complaint after 1.5 years are is it too late. HELP!!!

First call should be to Dallas Board of Realtors. If they don't help you then call TREC. You will find all info on TREC.com.

You have lived there more than 18 months and now you want to file a complaint. You saw the railroad tracks close to the house. You thought the real estate agent had the schedule of the trains that were passing by. If she had the current schedule, you did not think the train managers could change the schedule. If you can prove the air condition unit, bad gas line and furnace was bad prior to moving in you might have a compliant against the agent and/or the past owners. I am willing to bet I know the answer to the questions if someone ask the past owners if they knew the furnace, gas pipe or air condition unit was bad. "We had no idea there was a problem with either. They all worked fine while we were living there. Had we know we would have told her" Did you get an inspection prior to your closing? If so were these thing inspected, if so what were the remarks made on the inspection report. You might want to contact the inspection company to see if they might have some type of liability in the matters you have raised. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. "FIGHT ON"
