Per 5,000 business cards handed out, what approximate ratio of percentage of people follow up?

Say if I were to start handing out Business cards offering my services of car washing, and I designed the card to look incredibly professional and I approached each person with dignity and respect and was direct with each person...what is the rough estimated percentage of people per 5,000 who receive my business cards, will follow up with contact in an effort to render my services? Is it 2%, 1%, 0.5%, etc etc? What is your personal experience with handing out your business cards how the ratio works out to be roughly around?
