Is it possible to rent a trailer home and have it stationed on your personal property (in the houston area)?

I am looking to rent a trailer home for 12-18 months and have it set up on my personal property while constructing my permanent housing structure. I live in the Pearland/Friendswood area. Has anyone done this before? Do you know of a company who rents trailer homes in the manner?

Houston does not have zoneing laws but the towns around it usually do. Almost every neighborhood has severe restrictions. Check on these and see if they allow what you are wanting to do.
