Is it a bad idea to move to Dallas from MO and buy a home?
My husband is being transferred to a new job in Dallas- we have looked at homes and there are tons for sale in areas we like, but my father thinks is a bad idea to buy a home now. He believes that we will never be able to sell the house if we decide a few years from now we want to move back home to Kansas City. Is it a bad idea to buy now? I thought the market was just the opposite, don't home buyers have the upper hand right now? What do you think?

No, dallas is a great place to live, it is also one of the best places to purchase a home because of the cost of living. I know a great realtor that helped me out. If you want I can give you her contact info. Just let me know!
