Question

Using another companys product image in my logo?

I have a company which specialises in computer services using apple macs. Would there be any potential copyright infringement issues from using a photo of a mac book pro (which I took) with my company name displayed on the screen as my logo? The apple logo is not recognisable as the entire image has been blurred. But the shape of the object is clearly recognisable as a mac laptop to any familiar eye.

You would need permission from Apple to use their logo in any way for any purpose, or be liable for trademark (not copyright) infringement.
