You mean you have taken care of your on-page SEO but you have not fully attended to your off-page SEO. Granted that your blog will be appreciated by your target niche, you need to lead searchers in your niche to it. The best way is to have your site on top of search results or SEO. Traffic coming from social media, forums and similar means are fine but it is search engine prominence that helps the most. Besides, if most of your visitors are returning friends, AdSense will notice and probably adjust your commissions or ads. It takes time but SEO is the best. And you should start building unlimited one-way links from relevant sites. I know some WordPress blogs in your niche. If you can give them free content, they will gladly give you one-way links. If it is any encouragement, there is a free Blogger blog on the very top of Google Search for the very competitive "make money online" niche. It's a relatively ugly blog compared to the others who all claim to be SEO experts yet sadly lag behind. The blog owner makes a lot of money from AdSense he doesn't need to write and sell a book about making money with AdSense. Be patient.
