Customer service questions, help with greeting and appropriate open questions?

Okay so, have applied for a tech assisant job at tesco, part, time, and on friday i have an exam to test my technical knowledge, which i have a booklet abou, which i am fine about knowing thigns, but i need to have excellent customer service. How would i improve it...what sort of questions to greet them. Rather than 'can i help you' what open question is there?

"Is everything ok?" "How are you doing?" give them a nice big smile "you alright madam/sir?" it comes naturally to be honest. just say the first nice thing to come into your head. Good luck! :)

I would brush up on my English Grammar, ie: spellings, punctuation marks etc,before trying to help Tesco customers, it`s a good start.You need to help yourself first before you can help customers. Sorry !!!
