Question
The United States Naval Reserve announced that they ran out of money for the current fiscal year?
- The United States Naval Reserve announced that they ran out of money for the current fiscal year (October 1, 1993 - September 30, 1994). As a result, 20,000 reservists were ordered not to report for reserve drills that were scheduled for this weekend. This is the first time the Navy has had to cancel drills because of the lack of money. However, when the new fiscal year begins on October 1, new funding will become available from the government. why was this important?

OK, first of all, this is 2009, not 1993. Second of all, is this a homework question of some sort? If so, shouldn't you be answering it yourself? Why do *you* think it was important?
