I would like to ask a marketing question?
Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper analyzing how the company has managed each stage of the product life cycle of the popular MP3 player. Determine which stage of the life cycle the product is in currently. Defend why you feel the product is in the stage you identified. Do Apple iPod. In maturity stage. Launched using social media and PR. Silhouette ads appeared two years later and after it had achieved massive market share. Apple self-cannibalizes its own product to keep competitors playing catch-up. In other words, every 6 months or so there is a new model out. Development time for competitors is probably 6-12 months so they can't keep up. Maturity pushes prices down.
