How are people able to sell expensive items like iPods for $1 on eBay?
Some items have descriptions like "I got an iPhone and didn't need the Touch" or "I accidentally bought two". And then there's the wonderfully efficient powersellers whose descriptions include every scrap of information you'd ever need except for an explanation of HOW it's possible to sell a $300+ item for $1.

Could be a combination of any of the following: A) they're fake. B) you will never receive the item. C) the shipping charges are way high. D) they're stolen E) I did get a phone for 99 cents but I had to agree to extend my phone contract for 2 years. But it was so much of a hassle that next time i'll just buy the thing outright.
