Merthyr Tydfil is pretty good for all of the above. Do you consider £66.00 per week private rent, as a low cost for renting a 2 bedroom house? As a major town, the transport links are excellent. Merthyr trains to Cardiff are every 30 minutes costing around £5.00 return. The buses are likewise in price, however they are every 1 hour to Cardiff. Transport from the main town centre also sees buses go to Wrexham, Pontypridd, Swansea. In fact all around the Valley's. Becky, I don't often do this, but if you want further information in the post, bus & train timetables, local information etc, send me your address and I'll mail you some things.
