I'm looking for a free web hosting site without site templates/builders?
I've been using freewebs.com BUT I want a free web hosting site similar to this, WITHOUT templates, etc. BASICALLY, I want to be able to code my own site. But ... for free.

iClickster.com are great! They give free web hosting and have millions of options - blogging scripts - wordpress, joomla, all in one click installation etc... Also their space is great 10,000 MB - and they increased this space limit 3 times within the last 2 months! But wow, you know how to code? nice! I have 5 websites with iclickster, and they are pretty awesome

It may well be from your current internet provider. If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage created by DreamWeaver, FrontPage or even Netscape Composer. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily "mask" the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet provider's access and hosting fee of the homepage. Good luck!
