were would be a good place to buy property or business?

i have around 150 -200 grand (£) looking to buy a house or property some were hot ,away from the uk ,or preferably a business abroad for me to retire and my sons to run business ,i love africa ,lived there for 12 years but its not safe for whites there at the moment ,were would you suggest ? i was looking at sri lanka as an up and coming place now the civil war is over (kind of) but ive researched it and its also not a good idea right now c'mon give me some answrs for my dad or stars

That is not an easy question to answer because there are many factors to consider. First off you need to travel a lot and decide where you would like to live. I am an expat living in the Philippines and really love it. However here like most countries foreigners are not allowed to own property directly. Right now the government is stable but who knows what could happen in the future. Other than Philippines I would suggest, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil and Paraguay. I have been to all of those places.
