Clerical work at home, is it legit?
I think I found a job to work at home to be an Accounting Clerk /Clerical/data entry/Payroll. I need to know how legit it is. They didn't ask for money. Instead they asked about my qualifications were and then said to open a bank account, through a well known bank, so they can deposit funds to get programs that I will need to work at home. It would not be my own personal bank account but they would also deposit my "checks" in it weekly. I would get an hourly pay, and I would send information to my supervisor. I would be able to talk to my supervisor online daily and the job is only mon - fri.

It seems odd that one of the requirements is for you to open a bank account. This just makes it sound like a scam to me. Google the name of the company plus the work scam and see what comes up.

Kmcg's response is right on. Setting up a bank account as a prerequisite for the job sounds very suspicious and is a clear flag that this is a scam offer. Good luck!
