Question

Can you form a llc without an attorney?

I want to work for a company that will only contract with a corporation. I'd like to be an llc or limited liability corporation. Can I simply fill out a form and pay state fees? Or, do I have to have an attorney do so?

No, you don't need an attorney, but the wording in your application is key so you should probably look up some examples online so you get it right the first time. To get your app. rejected is a waste-especially considering how long it takes the app. to get processed. This is what people usually hire the attorney for in the first place...the legal wording of it all. I know you can do it though...Good luck!
