Question
Whats a good website to sell furniture on?
e-Bay will most likely pop up first. What I heard from a variety of people is that e-Bay steals a large majority of the money you make, and not to mention the tax commission aswell as the shipping&handling. Whats would I be left with if I sold something on ebay? If I sold a couch for $100 bucks for example. How much of that money will I actually get if I sold the item as a "Buy it Now" item. And how exactly does the Auction system work on e-Bay? Enough with these ridiculous scams! I need an Answer. I dont want to make free money, I want to earn money by getting rid of junk!

Have you tried Craig's List? You can sell on Ebay but it's really not the most practical source for local pick up only and hardly worth the time and trouble of packing and shipping. You may also consider a local newspaper ad, holding a yard sale, or selling through a consignment shop. No matter what you are going to pay a fee. What about making up flyers to post at your local drug or grocery stores??? There are some products that aren't practical to sell online sight unseen and furniture would be some of them.
