How do i start a lingerie business?
I am thinking of starting an underwear business.My challenge is that I don't know anything about underwear.I mean I don't know what underwear would fit who and what is worn for what dress. I was wondering if there is a course that I could take to learn the basics of the trade especially in the UK and South Africa.Answers will be appreciated.

Sadia, My suggestion for you is to look at buying an existing lingerie business especially if you are going to sell online. It takes a lot of work to make this business work online. The other option is to team up with an existing lingerie company, maybe one that does lingerie parties and learn the ropes that way. When we started our online lingerie business, we did some work experience at a couple of local lingerie stores and learn where to buy from and what people like. It is very easy to buy a lot of lingerie for a store that does not sell and many people starting out get caught in this way.
