Question

Could somebody please provide an example of how you would respond to the letter below?

Thank you (the names and identifying information has been changed) --------------------------------------… Adam: Great to hear from you, and congratulations! We are excited to have you for a week at B Community College. We expect to have you next week (August 17-21). For the first day or so, I will give you a tour of everything we have here at BCC and will set up some informational interviews/shadowing experiences with different individuals here at BCC. Honestly, since I have only been here since October 2008, some things are still a bit new for me. You can accompany me to any meetings I have scheduled for the week, too. You can see what I do on a daily basis, as well as everyone else in our marketing office. I will have a project (maybe more) for you, also, with a submission date by the end of the day Friday. DRESS: Business casual. You don’t need to wear a business suit, but if you feel compelled to, be my guest. Slacks/khakis with a professional shirt. WHERE: C Campus building on D Blvd. My office is Room 1234 in office suit 4321. If you want, on the first day, go to the Information/Security Desk inside the main entrance of the building and ask for me. WHEN: 8 a.m.-Noon each day (Aug 17-21) Let me know if all this works for you, and we'll plan on seeing you Monday, August 17. John Q. Doe Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications 123-456-7890 B Community College C Campus, Room 1234 5678 D Blvd. Antwerp, Colorado 12345

"Will do. See ya then, dude!" Really, does it require a response or just a quick phone call telling him you'll be there?
