Question
Anyone do at home parties and make a good profit?
I'm looking into 'For the Home' parties. They mostly sell candles and a little bit of wall decor. I figure that people enjoy candles and I would have repeat customers, they are soy candles too, so even better. It just seems like it would take a while to make a good profit, you only get 25% of what you sell, so me selling $1,000 worth of stuff only gets me $250. What do you think? Give it a try, or not worth it. Who has had true success and what do you do? Any home parties with a bigger starting profit, more than 25%? Thanks

25% is excellent if you can sell them. Very few comapanies offer 25%. There was a direct selling home decor company but it went out of business. With some work where can you end up? Can you increase your commission? How hard are they to sell? You might supplement it with flameless candles, www.scentsy.com. I sell Tupperware. We also get 25%. If you sell 3200 per month you move up to 35%. Once you recruit people and get the sales you can eventually end up with 54%. Good luck.
