What CRM solutions are there that are better than Goldmine?
Our company has been using Goldmine for a number of years and it's just not cutting it as far as a good CRM systems go. Are there any better solutions out there?

There are many options for CRM systems available. To understand whether one is better than Goldmine, you would need to list where Goldmine is not working for you. You should also list the features that do work. Together these are your requirements and you should prioritise your requirements. Then many CRM solutions have online versions that you can trial. Use these versions to compare against your requirements. A couple of the leaders in the Enterprise space are Oracle (ex Siebel) and Saleforce.com. We are using a smaller hosted solution called ZohoCRM. There are other opensource solutions such as SugarCRM.

Hi there, Gold-Vision is a popular CRM which I would recommend. We used Goldmine for quite a long period with limited success. Once we implemented Gold-Vision we were able to manage our day to day business processes effectively. Great Functionality! User Friendly which makes a huge difference! Good Luck!

Yeah I've talked to people who weren't satisfied with Goldmine. It turns out that people's biggest problem with most CRM solutions is that there isn't a clear, fast, easy interface. A company called Touch Ahead Software makes CRM solutions for businesses custom for what they need. You pay monthly, it's web-hosted. An example of their software is EquityTouch. I personally would use ACT! by Sage. very user friendly and more or less fully editable fields and very good for tracking customer contacts, pipelines etc.. with excellent reporting. go to www.sage.co.uk and look it up. its fairly cheap too.
