I tried to buy something online but it didn't work. Why?

This is what it said: Problem Processing Payment There was a problem authorizing your credit card. The following was returned from the credit card processor DECLINED:0720900009: CARD NO. ERROR :14

I would call the issuer of the card and ask why the transaction was declined. If the banks says that nothing is wrong on their end call the company that you attempted the purchase with and ask what happens. Additionally, I would keep good track of your bank records, in the past I have had similar situation where it said it was declined but the charge went through.

Sounds like either you were declined because you do not have the funds to cover the transaction or you put in the wrong card #. If there is a way to check your statement online, you may want to do that to see if it can give you any clues as to why you were declined. If that isn't it, call the merchant and see if you can just purchase the item over the phone.

When it says declined it means ur card was declined at the paying banks portal for insufficiency of funds or some other reasons against which the bank decides that ur card is not to be used. so better check with the cards company.
