Question
Post codes, here's a thing. What do you reckon ?
Hi. "Use the post code" they say. Fine, I sent a small envelope to myself with just the house no. and the post code. Two lines, no address. It arrived back the next day. Amazing ! So I don't knock our postal system, apart from getting items for a few things for a similar looking street name in town I hear of problems from others with the mail, so do you have any ? Bob

That's the reason why if you want to mark any of your property for identification purposes you just put the house number and the postcode - that's all you actually need, and it annoys me when you try and order something on-line and they want you to fill in about six lines of address. In my case in London, I have to give the name of the post district (which most people don't even KNOW!) and when it comes to "Town" and "City" I have to write something silly like 'London' in the town and "STILL LONDON" in the city box - when in fact all I REALLY need is that house number and the postcode ! ! !
